I am in a Substance Abuse Treatment Program for my alcahol consumption. Its working better than I imagined! The new meds stop the craving. I only think about booze when its rubbed in my face. Like every block in Downtown. lol
Ok, its not that bad.
Central City Concern is bending over backwards to help me with my job hunt.
I should be self sufficient in no time!
My Primary Care provider told my case worker I can get on estrogen replacement as soon as I get my blood pressure under control. The lack of beer should be helping. Looking forward to that big time.
My case worker is pointing out social activities I should try. Since I left Portland in 1969 its a bit different than when I left (ya think!).
One cool constant. The Portland weather light is still there. I saw it between the buildings the other day. The light itself has been replaced but its still on top of its pole. I used to go to sleep in Linnton looking toward downtown and watching the usually blinking green light forcasting fair weather with precipitation. The color predicts teperature: red, green, white and blinking means precip.
Today was fantastic, if cool, Check out my latest photo on the Photo page.
