The bus driver I get on the last bus since my schedule changed likes me. I think he is naturally gregarious but he obviously like the way my boobs bounce when the bus hits road imperfections. I think he aims for them now. On my second ride he knew exactly where I wanted to disembark. I like that in a man! (note that I didn't say 'Get off') lol :P

The adjustment to the new hours is killing me. I get up at 4:30 am, catch the 5:30 bus Start work at 8:00. I get off work at 4:30 pm, catch the 4:38 bus for home (If I have a late support issue I catch the 5:08), get home anywhere from 6:30 to 7:00 depending on traffic, then two, maybe three hours for dinner and schoolwork and then crash. I wish I could read in a moving vehicle. It would make school work easier. My unemployment check is delayed for up to 6 weeks. That’s 3 payments. My fist PAYcheck will be just under $160. My bank account is overdrawn by $900. I am living on food that is going bad and military surplus MREs.
I hope this gets better fast! For over a week now I have been listening to Lois McMaster Bujold’s Vorkosigan series completely out of order.
Seriously, if you like sci-fi, mystery, action, light military action (as opposed to David Weber), romance, and or detective (later in the series) stories you’ll like these books. Start with Shards of Honor. Ok so this is a bit embarrassing. It seems I have lost about 15lbs over the last year or so. Makes no sense to me since I haven’t been as active in my mind.
Anyway, I took the bus to IBM for my orientation. The plant is located in a rural area populated with prairie dogs and raptors. There are no sidewalks. As I stepped of the regional bus (think greyhound) I had an extra long step to the ground. It stretched my torso a bit and my skirt fell. Remind me to wear a belt from now on. Time to buy dresses and new skirts. Damn. Dress code vs. Bank balance. If it wasn’t IBM I wouldn’t commute 2 hours each way or run around scrounging new certified copies of all my legal history. |
